There are two types of gift cards: those with dollar values and those for specific goods and services, such as a spa day or hotel stay, which do not indicate a dollar value.
Starting February 1, 2010, gift cards with dollar values in the marketplace that have not expired, as well as those issued on or after that date, will not have expiry dates.
Gift cards for good and services that do not indicate dollar values purchased prior to February 1, 2010, will continue to expire on their scheduled dates. Cards issued for goods and services purchased on or after February 1, 2010, will not have expiry dates.
Also, effective February 1st
