District Health Authority Parking Fees Exemption Regulations
made under subsection 84(2A) of the
Health Authorities Act

1 These regulations may be cited as the District Health Authority Parking Fees Exemption Regulations.
2 In these regulations,
(a) “Act” means the Health Authorities Act;
(b) “designated parking fees and costs” means the fees and costs designated in subsection 3(2);
(c) “designated organization” means an organization designated in subsection 3(1).
Designations for the purpose of exemption under subsection 84(2A) of Act
3 (1) Every organization that receives Community Transportation Assistance Program funding from Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations is designated for the purpose of subsection 84(2A) of the Act.
(2) Every fee or cost charged by a district health authority on a monthly, daily, or hourly basis for authorized parking of a motor vehicle on the district health authority’s property is designated for the purpose of subsection 84(2A) of the Act.
Exemption from parking fees and costs
4 A designated organization is exempt from designated parking fees and costs.
