November 21, 2013 - New Map Shows Potential Radon Threat – Department of Natural Resources
The province is reminding property owners to test for radon and is publishing a new online map to help identify areas with the highest potential risk of exposure. Earlier maps had been largely based on geology. The new one uses test results from public buildings, such as schools and hospitals, and from private properties, and makes it easier to quantify the risk.
