CONSUMER PRICE INDEX JULY 2014



NOVA SCOTIA
In Nova Scotia July 2014, the consumer price index (2002=100) decreased 0.2% from June 2014 to 128.9 and increased 2.0% over July 2013.

The CPI, excluding food and energy, decreased 0.2% from June 2014 to 118.1, and increased 1.5% over July 2013.

CANADA
In Canada July 2014, the consumer price index (2002=100) decreased 0.2% from June 2014 to 125.7 and increased 2.1% over July 2013.

Core CPI decreased 0.1% from June 2014 to 123.1 and increased 1.7% over July 2013. The CPI, excluding food and energy, decreased 0.2% from June 2014 to 118.9, and increased 1.5% over July 2013.

HALIFAX
In Halifax July 2014, the consumer price index (2002=100) decreased 0.2% from June 2014 to 127.5 and increased 1.9% over July 2013.
