October 27, 2016UK GDP Q3 (ADVANCE ESTIMATE) 
The UK Office of National Statistics reported real GDP for the second quarter of 2016 grew by 0.5 per cent in the third quarter, compared to 0.7 per cent in the previous quarter. That corresponded to a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 2.0 per cent growth. The service sector expanded 0.8 per cent while the 3 main industrial groups, agriculture (-0.7%), manufacturing (-1.0%) and construction (-1.4%) all declined.
