CONSUMER PRICE INDEX JUNE 2016

NOVA SCOTIA
In Nova Scotia June 2016, the consumer price index (2002=100) increased 0.2 per cent from May 2016 to 131.8 and increased 1.2 per cent over June 2015.

The CPI, excluding food and energy, increased 0.1 per cent from May 2016 to 123.3, and increased 2.3 per cent over June 2015.

CANADA
In Canada June 2016, the consumer price index (2002=100) increased 0.2 per cent from May 2016 to 129.1 and increased 1.5 per cent over June 2015.

Core CPI was unchanged from May 2016 at 128.6 and increased 2.1 per cent over June 2015. The CPI, excluding food and energy, increased 0.1 per cent from May 2016 to 123.9, and increased 2.1 per cent over June 2015.

HALIFAX
In Halifax June 2016, the consumer price index (2002=100) increased 0.1 per cent from May 2016 to 130.6 and increased 1.3 per cent over June 2015.
