February 12, 2016EU AND EURO AREA GDP, Q4 2015 (FLASH ESTIMATE) The European Union (EU 28) real GDP, at a seasonally adjusted annualized rate, increased 1.4 per cent in 2015 Q4, after increasing 1.5 per cent in the third quarter. The Euro Area (EA19) saw a 1.1 per cent increase in Q4 after a 1.2 per cent gain the previous quarter.
Over the whole year 2015, GDP rose by 1.5 per cent in the euro area and by 1.8 per cent in the EU28.
