November 26, 2014US PERSONAL INCOME AND OUTLAY, OCTOBER 2014 US personal income increased in October 0.2 percent ($32.9 billion), and disposable personal income increased $23.4 billion. Over the past ten months, personal income and personal disposable income have grown by 3.3 and 3.2 per cent, respectively.
Consumer expenditures increased by 0.2 per cent over the month ($27.3 billion). Personal savings continue to rise and now stand at 5.0 per cent of disposable income.
