November 21, 2014UK RETAIL SALES, OCTOBER 2014 The UK Office of National Statistics reports that in October 2014 retail sales (volumes based - seasonally adjusted) quantity increased 0.8 per cent over September 2014 and increased 4.3 per cent over October 2013. There was growth in all sectors, except non-store retailing. Clothing stores showed growth of 0.5%, however, as growth in this store type fell by 5.9% in September the rise does not cancel out the fall seen last month.
