CONSUMER PRICE INDEX SEPTEMBER 2014



NOVA SCOTIA
In Nova Scotia September 2014, the consumer price index (2002=100) increased 0.4% from August 2014 to 129.5 and increased 1.7% over September 2013.

The CPI, excluding food and energy, increased 0.4% from August 2014 to 119.2, and increased 1.4% over September 2013.

CANADA
In Canada September 2014, the consumer price index (2002=100) increased 0.1% from August 2014 to 125.8 and increased 2.0% over September 2013.

Core CPI increased 0.2% from August 2014 to 124.0 and increased 2.1% over September 2013. The CPI, excluding food and energy, increased 0.3% from August 2014 to 119.7, and increased 1.9% over September 2013.

HALIFAX
In Halifax September 2014, the consumer price index (2002=100) increased 0.4% from August 2014 to 128.2 and increased 1.7% over September 2013.
