February 16, 2024UK RETAIL SALES, JANUARY 2024 The UK Office for National Statistics reports that UK retail sales value as well as retail sales volume rose in January 2024.
Month over month (January 2024 vs December 2023)
Retail sales values increased by 3.9% and volumes (adjusted to remove the effects of price changes) increased 3.4%.
Internet sales decreased by 4.1% and accounted for 24.8% of total retail sales.
Year-over-Year (January 2024 vs January 2023)
Retail sales values increased 3.8% while retail sales volumes increased 0.7%.
