In September 2017, the US goods and services trade deficit increased by $0.7 billion from August 2017 to $43.5 billion.
The goods deficit increased by $577 million to $65.4 billion.
There was a decrease of $154 million in the service trade surplus to $21.9 billion.
Year-to-date
The Jan-Sep 2017 the US trade deficit increased $34.5 billion to $405 billion. Year-to-date goods deficit increased $40 billion and the services surplus increased $5.5 billion.
