October 19, 2017UK RETAIL SALES, SEPTEMBER 2017 The UK Office of National Statistics reports that in September 2017 retail sales (volumes based - seasonally adjusted) were down 0.8 per cent over August 2017, and increased 1.2 per cent over September 2016.
In September 2017, the amount spent online accounted for 17.0 per cent of all retail (excluding automotive fuels) spending, compared with 15.6 per cent in September 2016. The value of the on-line sales increased 0.1 per cent over August 2017, and increased 14.0 per cent over September 2016.
