June 30, 2017UK CURRENT ACCOUNTS, Q1 2017 The UK posted a current account deficit of £16.9 billion (3.4% of GDP) in the 1st quarter of 2017, widening by £4.8 billion from the deficit posted in the 4th quarter 2016.
- The UK goods and services trade deficit increased to £8.8 billion.
- The primary income deficit increased to £2.7 billion.
- The secondary income deficit declined to £5.3 billion.
