UK GDP Q1 2017 (THIRD ESTIMATE)

In the Office for National Statistics' third and final estimate of the UK Gross Domestic Product for Q1 2017, real GDP is estimated to have increased by 0.2 per cent between Q42016 and Q12017, unrevised from the second estimate released in May. Real GDP grew by 2.0 per cent compared to Q1 2016, also unrevised from the second estimate. Growth was driven by increased output in business services, finance, and construction industries, and partially offset by a decline in consumer-focused industries.
