JAPAN CURRENT ACCOUNT AND TRADE BALANCE MARCH 2017

Current Account

 In Japan March 2017, the current account decreased 562.7 billion yen to a diminished 1,731.2 billion yen surplus over February 2017.

 

In  March 2017, Japan reported a net international trade (goods and services)  surplus of 160.4 billion yen; a primary income surplus of 1,690.8 billion yen; and a secondary income (transfers)  deficit of 119.9 billion yen.

  

 Trade Balance

  

In March 2017, Japan's net trade (goods and services) decreased by 440.2 billion yen over February 2017, resulting in a diminished  surplus of  160.4 billion yen.

Goods exports decreased 195.6 billion yen to 6,294.3 billion yen. Goods imports increased 292.7 billion yen to 5,951.8 billion yen.

Net goods trade surplus decreased 488.4 billion yen to 342.4 billion yen.  Net Services deficit decreased 48.1 billion yen to 182.1 billion yen.
