CANADA INTERNATIONAL MERCHANDISE TRADE FEBRUARY 2017


In February 2017, Canadian merchandise trade (balance of payments basis, seasonally adjusted) posted a $972.1 million deficit. Over the last 98 months the accumulated deficit stands at $83.1 billion.

In February 2017, exports decreased 2.4% over January 2017 to $45.3 billion, and increased 4.4% over February 2016. Over the last 98 months, exports have totaled $3.83 trillion.

In February 2017, imports increased 0.6% over January 2017 to $46.3 billion, and increased 1.4% over February 2016. Over the last 98 months, imports have totaled $3.92 trillion.
