US TRADE BALANCE, FEBRUARY 2017

February

In February 2017, the US goods and services trade deficit decreased by $4.6 billion from January 2017 to $43.6 billion.

The goods deficit decreased by $4.6 billion to $65.0 billion. Goods exports increased $352 million to $128.5 billion. Goods imports decreased $4.2 billion to $193.4 billion. 

There was an increase of $49 million in the service trade surplus to $21.4 billion.  

 

Year-to-date

The Jan-Feb trade deficit increased $2.8 billion to $91.7 billion.

Year-to-date goods and services exports increased $25.8 billion and year-to-date goods and services imports increased $28.6 billion
