March 23, 2017UK RETAIL SALES, FEBRUARY 2017 The UK Office of National Statistics reports that in February 2017 retail sales (volumes based - seasonally adjusted) were up 1.4% over January 2017, and increased 3.7% over February 2016.
Retail sales (seasonally adjusted) value increased 2.0% over January 2017, and increased 6.4% over February 2016.
In February 2017, the amount spent online accounted for 15.3% of all retail (excluding automotive fuels) spending. The value of the on-line sales increased 3.3% over January 2017, and increased 20.7% over February 2016.
