Nova Scotia’s employment services are changing to better meet the needs of job seekers and employers. These changes, which will be rolled out over the summer, will result in an expanded and more consistent suite of services across the province. And they will ensure that Nova Scotians will have access to labour market information and career planning advice.

The Careers Nova Scotia Centres Management Program (CNSCM) provides funding to organizations for infrastructure, management and administration costs that are associated with managing Careers Nova Scotia Centres Services agreements that offer employment assistance services to unemployed persons.
Career Nova Scotia Centres Management Program (CNSCM), a Support Measure administered by the Department of Labour and Advanced Education’s Employment Nova Scotia (ENS) Division, provides funding to organizations to provide infrastructure, management and administration for the activities contained in Career Nova Scotia Centre Services agreements (CNSCS). The activities of the CNSCM program include HR management and development, site/facility management, strategic planning and governance as they relate to associated CNSCS agreements.
Who delivers the Career Nova Scotia Centres Management Program?
The Careers Nova Scotia Centres Services Program (CNSCS) funds organizations to provide self-serve and assisted employment related activities from a standard menu of services which will help unemployed persons prepare for, obtain and maintain employment. This program must be linked to a CNSCM Program agreement.
Career Nova Scotia Centres Services Program (CNSCS), a Support Measure administered by the Department of Labour and Advanced Education’s Employment Nova Scotia (ENS) Division, provides employment assistance to individuals legally entitled to work in Canada. Examples of key services funded through Career Nova Scotia Centres Services (CNSCS) are (but not limited to): Information Access - Resource Centre Services, Job Search Services and Resources, Client Assessment Services, Case Management Services including Return-to-Work Action Plan (RTWAP) Development, Management and Follow-up, Career Counselling, Diagnostic Referral, Job Coaching, Job Development, and Employer Engagement.
