Community Services can help you find and apply for support like employment support and income assistance (ESIA) and the disability support program (DSP).   • Community Services can help you find and apply for support (like income assistance and disability support) – Call toll-free (within Nova Scotia): 1-877-424-1177 or call your local DCS office Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • You can also visit a Community Services Office. Office hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

  • Offices with Child Welfare Services
    Child welfare services include child protection and supports for children in care, including foster care and adoption. These are also the offices where you can report suspected cases of child abuse.
