Eighteen Mile Brook Nature Reserve Ecological Site Designation

made under Section 14 of the

Special Places Protection Act

R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 438

O.I.C. 2008-538 (October 15, 2008, effective October 24, 2008), N.S. Reg. 413/2008


I, Mark Parent, Minister of Environment for the Province of Nova Scotia, pursuant to Section 14 of Chapter 438 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Special Places Protection Act, hereby designate the area of land described in Schedule A and shown on the map in Schedule B, attached to and forming part of this order, as an ecological site, to be known as Eighteen Mile Brook Nature Reserve.


This designation is effective on and after the date it is published in the Royal Gazette.

All that certain tract of land shown outlined in bold line as identified on Compiled Plan Showing Block 13 Crown Land, filed in the Department of Natural Resources Office at Halifax, under Field Plot P-033/08, said tract of land located at Pleasantfield (Eighteen Mile Brook), Queens County, Province of Nova Scotia.


Containing a total area of 66 hectares, more or less.
