Number Plates for Semi-trailers Registered with a Permanent Identification Regulations

made under subsection 36(1) of the
Motor Vehicle Act
R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 293
N.S. Reg. 40/93

Ministerial Order dated February 22, 1993

Pursuant to subsection (1) of Section 36 of Chapter 293 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia 1989, the Motor Vehicle Act, Nova Scotia number plates issued for the registration year 1993 and subsequent years, in the case of semi-trailers registered with a permanent identification, shall have the following appearance:

(a) the words "NOVA SCOTIA" shall be at the top of the number plate;

(b) the words "OPEN FOR BUSINESS" shall appear at the bottom of the number plate;

(c) the background colour of the number plate shall be yellow and all other letters and numbers shall be red; and

(d) be otherwise in accordance generally with the number plate depiction shown on Schedule "A" attached hereto.
